Comedian, actor, and bestselling author Annabelle Gurwitch takes on the not-funny-until-it-is subject of cancer in her new book, The End of My Life Is Killing Me. Which is just really, really, funny — and stunningly relatable to anyone who has met with an oncologist and lived with the fallout. Gurwitch takes us from lung cancer diagnosis through treatment, as she ponders the transformational qualities of art (and wallpaper) and mulls big questions about friendship, love, work, grief — and maybe even the urge to commit a few crimes here and there. Plus, European rock ‘n roll adventure.
Speaking of serious and wildly funny, Gurwitch will be in conversation with comedian, actor, writer and producer, Bob Odenkirk — who has given us some of the most indelible and thrilling performances in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. His films include The Post, The Spectacular Now, and Nebraska, and he created the cult favorite HBO series, Mr. Show.
