Strong Words, the hit Los Angeles storytelling show, is back at the Ebell for another magical night. Curated by writer/producer Marlene Nichols, enjoy a cast of 5 all-star women sharing true personal stories about this adventure we call life. From New York Times bestselling authors to community activists to your favorite 5th grade teacher, Strong Words packs the stage with wordsmiths and performing artists from across the cultural landscape. They’ll make you laugh till you cry and cry till you laugh. With a special musical guest to put us into the groove, this blowout show is a celebration of grace, grit and humor in celebration of Women’s History month! May it inspire you to put your own story out into the world.

Created by Larry Dean Harris, Strong Words is community driven with 100+ shows under their belt. The 2025-26 season is on fire with collaborations at The Ebell, The Autry Museum, the LAMade festival, SOCALO (Santa Monica), El Cid, Living Out (Palm Springs), and at their original home under the stars in their beautiful courtyard venue in Atwater Village.
