Enjoy luncheon at The Ebell as we honor this year's Rest Cottage Association’s (RCA) grant recipients in a celebration of their courage, connection and purpose. These nonprofit grantees have made an incredible impact on behalf of at risk women in LA, in alignment with the RCA mission to support organizations that offer compassionate services and financial assistance to women and their minor children, in Los Angeles County.
For over a century, RCA has been dedicated to supporting women in need, from the original Rest Cottages to the grants we provide today.
Inspiring speakers for this year are:
Dr. Susan Michael, Vice President of Programs at New Directions For Veterans, will provide an overview of the Oasis Program and its holistic approach in caring for the female veterans in the program.
Darlene Williams Kiyan, Saint Barnabas Senior Services (SBSS) President and CEO, will share the life-saving impact made possible through funding from the Ebell Women’s Fund, highlighting how these resources supported SBSS members over the past year.
Jennifer Carney, Director of Foundation and Government Relations for SSBS, who will discuss the organization’s essential programs providing nutrition, transportation, care management, and enrichment activities to more than 18,000 Angelenos annually.
This luncheon, which aids the RCA, is open to Ebell members and the public. Please also consider sponsoring a lunch or two for our guest RCA grantees. To ensure we can include your name in the luncheon program, please submit your donation by April 8, 2026.
