The Ebell of Los Angeles proudly welcomes the Los Angeles Jewish Symphony for an unforgettable afternoon of music and cultural celebration.
East Meets West: A World of Jewish Music is a 90-minute musical journey across the global Jewish diaspora, highlighting Sephardic, Ashkenazi, and Mizrahi traditions through a compelling and joyful program that speaks to both Jewish and non-Jewish audiences alike. Through evocative rhythms, ancient melodies, and modern interpretations, the concert explores how music connects generations and cultures.
This program is presented in collaboration with Recovered Voices—a Colburn School initiative spotlighting composers whose lives were tragically cut short by the Nazi regime.
Join us in the historic Ebell theatre for an inspiring experience that celebrates identity, resilience, and the power of sound to tell a collective story.
