A Woman's Place: Framing The Future

OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS! Submit your work to A WOMAN’S PLACE: FRAMING THE FUTURE, a juried art show in honor of National Women’s History Month (March 2026), presented by The Ebell of Los Angeles. Deadline to submit is February 24, 2026.

We're looking for work that celebrates the many ways women create, lead, reimagine, resist, build, nurture, dream, and define what comes next. Artists of all backgrounds, identities, and experience levels are welcome to submit. Share YOUR vision!

Our Esteemed Jurors Are:

·      Dominique Clayton, an arts consultant, writer, and gallerist born and raised in Los Angeles.

·      Shana Nys Dambrot, an art critic, curator, and author based in Downtown LA.

·      Heidi Johnson, founder of HIJINX Arts in L.A., and known as one of the art world’s most dynamic publicists.

Exhibition Dates:

Opening Cocktail Reception & Awards Presentation: Thursday, March 19, 2026

Art Viewing by Appointment & during public events at The Ebell: March 19 - April 22, 2026

Exhibit featured at EBELL + LA Festival: Powered by Women: March 22, 2026

Prizes:

·      1st - $200 cash prize and a 1-year membership to The Ebell

·      2nd - $150 BLICK Art Materials gift certificate and a 1-year membership to The Ebell

·      3rd - $100 Pizzeria Mozza gift certificate and a 1-year membership to The Ebell

Eligibility: Entries are open to all people living and working in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Bernardino, San Luis Obispo, Kern, San Diego and Imperial Counties.
