Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with an afternoon of passion, artistry, and powerful voices. The Ebell of Los Angeles and Pacific Opera Project present an afternoon of Latin-American art song and arias. Cantadoras y Compositoras brings together rising stars of the operatic world—Soprano Maria Brea and Mezzo-Soprano Jessica Gonzalez-Rodriguez —joined by pianist Mercedes Juan Musotto. A program honoring the brilliance of Latina composers, including Carla Lucero, Mariel Mayz, Maria Grever, and many more.
Set in an intimate sun-filled salon, this performance offers a rare chance to experience the soul of Latin-American art song up close. Don’t miss this vibrant tribute to the stories, sounds, and legacies that have shaped a rich musical heritage.
